COVID-19 Protocols

All Cast/Crew/Production staff are fully vaccinated (including boosters)

Rehearsals are fully masked until Tech, unless scenes specifically require close contact. Cast will be given 24 hours notice of any rehearsal that requires unmasking in order to self-monitor for symptoms. Antigen tests will be available for all cast whose roles require close physical contact.

Any other activity that requires unmasking (i.e. eating snacks during breaks) is done separately, outside the rehearsal space.

No one should report to rehearsal if they are feeling ill. Contact our Stage Manager if you are feeling any symptoms.

Audiences must be fully vaccinated

Per our venue (City Lit Theater) rules all audiences must be fully vaccinated. As of Feb 1, 2022, “fully vaccinated” includes boosters for those whose 2nd dose or single dose vaccine was administered before August 1, 2021. Ticket holders can show a digital picture of their vaccine record in lieu of bringing the physical card when checking in for the show.

Audience members must wear masks at all times in the theater. Food and drinks will not be allowed inside the theater. We thank you in advance for strict adherence to these guidelines that are designed to keep our artists and audience safe.

CDC Guidance on masks

COVID-19 Exposure

Per current CDC guidelines, individuals who are fully vaccinated (and boosted if more than 6 months after 2nd dose or single dose vaccine) are not required to quarantine unless they are showing symptoms. Testing is recommended 5-7 days after exposure and masking is recommended for 10 days following exposure.

Lifeboat is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and ventilated space for our performers and audience members and will take necessary measures, up to and including cancelation of performances if necessary. In the event that a performance is canceled, our Box Office will contact all ticket holders to arrange an exchange or refund.
